PROSPECTING THE FUNCTIONING DYNAMICS OF THE FREE FAIR

This paper refers to the free fair of the municipality of Assú, aims to understand the dynamics and operation of the free fair of the municipality of Assú. The methodologies adopted for the research were: application of semi-structured questionnaires containing objective and essay questions for consumers and marketers, in on-site research, in October 2019. For analysis the profile of those involved in the market research and consumers were used questions related to the market. genre; age range; frequency of going to the fair; which product is most purchased and the factors that influence the purchase. The results show that fairgrounds are male between the ages of 20 - 60 years, we show that the fairgrounds present at the fair can be considered fairgrounds / sellers, the products marketed in the highest demand are vegetables and fruits, all of conventional origin. Regarding consumers, it was shown that most are female, aged 30-40 years, the motivation to go to the fair is due to the affordable price and also by family tradition, the most purchased products are vegetables and fruits, do not use returnable bags at the time of purchase of their products, the visual aspects of the product / quality and price are the most important attributes in the decision to purchase products at the fair.
