PROMOÇÃO DA SAÚDE DE CRIANÇAS: DESAFIOS NA ATIVAÇÃO DE GRUPO DE PUERICULTURA COLETIVA

Abstract

This study aimed to report on the challenges faced in reactivating the collective childcare group of a Basic Health Unit. This is an experience report, developed by nursing students at Vale do Acaraú State University, based on the extension activities performed. in a health unit of a municipality in the interior of the state of Ceará, from June to August 2019. The reactivation of the group of collective childcare sought to expand attention to children's health. In the process of reactivation of the group, challenges were faced such as: social barriers existing in the territory, the high work demand of the supporting professionals and communication difficulties with professionals and users. Despite these, it was possible to reactivate and develop the activities of the group, which contributed to the development of skills and abilities of the academics, expanding the knowledge about child health, working with groups in the Family Health Strategy and planning and management. in health. Thus, it was concluded that the group of collective childcare is a potent strategy of health promotion and prevention of diseases and diseases, providing interaction and socialization between mothers, children and health professionals.
