The cost-effectiveness assessment in the health field seeks to understand the impact of different alternatives. In order to summarize studies that involve economic evaluation of cost-effectiveness in primary care in Brazil, an integrative review was carried out, in order to seek a contribution to the deepening of the theme, in the years 2012 and 2015. The strategy was used PCC for the formulation of the question: What studies have been carried out in order to describe the cost-effectiveness in primary care in Brazil? 32 pre-selected studies were obtained which, after reading and applying the exclusion criteria, resulted in 8 articles for analysis. Of the studies included in the selection process, the majority (87.5%) of the universal vaccination theme was verified by the Brazilian National Immunization Program (PNI). The low number of publications on the cost-effectiveness of actions in the health field, especially in the primary health sector, is worrying, given that health spending is increasingly becoming a problem for the public sector. This also shows how little this sector is invested in economic studies, in relation to other levels of health care in Brazil, since it is still the least expensive sector, due to the use of few hard Technologies.
