A ATUAÇÃO DO PEDAGOGO NA EDUCAÇÃO SEXUAL
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The educator is an important actor on student’s formation, contributing to approach sex education in their lives. The goal of this study is to reflect on how important is sex education in schools. The research of data in this study was made between a contente analysis, from techiques of observation after aplication of a questionnaire, in a descriptive analytical perspective and also by a collection of available articles on websistes and books which discuss scientifically about the proposed subject. It is conducted in order to encourage a reflection and debate focusing on possible changes in the way sex education is dealt inside the Jaboatão dos Guararapes municipal schools. The results showed that the people interviewed have a limited perception about sexual orientation, however they don’t develop the subject in a educational approah. Also, there was a unanimous expression of concern and protection against sexual violence, due to the consequences of a lack of dialogue about sexual orientation. The conclusion is that, despite many social positions which disagree about sex education, it’s really necessary to create a solid basis about it in the teaching/learning process.
