ESPONTANEIDADE SUFOCADA E LIBERDADES DEMOCRÁTICAS EM HANNAH ARENDT
Abstract
The objective of this study is to understand which aspects of the human condition are important to guarantee human dignity. Such considerations are theoretically guided by the works of the contemporary philosopher Hannah Arendt. Human dignity will be discussed from a negative point of view, hence its absence. The usurpation of human rights by the expelled population will be analyzed as a condition of belonging to the political community. Thus, from the contemplation of the lack of value, characteristic elements will be analyzed to guarantee the dignity of the men and women that make up the human community, namely: the singularization, or individualization, that is achieved by the discussion in humanity.
