INTEGRATION TEACHING-SERVICE-COMUNITY: EVIDENC OF SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION

The study aims to analyze the scientific production on the teaching-service-community integration and its repercussions for health education. It is an integrative literature review. The search for studies was carried out in the databases of Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and in the portal of the Virtual Health Library (VHL), with publications in the period of 2015 to 2019. The final sample found 29 scientific productions, mostly published between the years of 2018 and 2019 (76%). Such publications, in their methodological nature, varied about the type of research and all studies are of a qualitative or mixed approach, with no quantitative studies found. The scientific productions demonstrate how potentialities of teaching-service-community integration: the gains of the community for receiving comprehensive and differentiated attention, for the professionals for being able to update their theoretical and practical work and, especially for the students when conceiving a more contextualized training, from the construction of knowledge based on local needs, with a focus on shared learning and collaborative practice.
