USE OF APPLICATIONS IN TEACHING ABOUT SOLAR SYSTEM AND ATOMIC MODELS
A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
Abstract
Mobile devices associated with technologies have generated changes in the way society relates and deals with information in different spaces, including the school environment. Currently, digital technology has been inserted in the classroom as instruments to contribute to the teaching process, including the various contents of the science discipline. Thus, the objective of this work is to carry out a review on the use of applications in elementary school, addressing the solar system and atomic models. The research was developed through a survey of works in national and international databases. Many of the works were discarded for not meeting the inclusion criteria. Finally, after the process of selection, classification and analysis of the results, 15 works were selected. An average of 1.5 publications per year (2010-2021) was obtained. Fifteen different applications were described, addressing separately or together the researched themes. It was also verified that the models and simulators could be used in mobile equipment (cell phones) and computers. It was concluded that there are several technological tools that can be inserted in classes regarding the contents of atomic models and the solar system, including applications, games and simulators to enrich and facilitate the understanding of the contents by the students.
