Health education whit adolescents
an experience report supported by active methodologies
Abstract
ABSTRACT
During childhood and adolescence, it is essential to promote means of health education that are effective for this developing public, and the role of nursing in the development of active methodologies ideal for this phase is essential; This study aims to describe the experience of nursing students in practical experiences with adolescents in social vulnerability; This is an experience report of the module of Interdisciplinary Practices in Teaching, Research and Extension I, in 2019. Activities related to the reality of adolescents assisted by CRAS Irmã Oswalda were developed, and active methodologies were developed to address issues such as bullying, healthy eating and sports, in addition to promoting nursing consultations for adolescents; It was noted the low knowledge of the target audience about the topics, but with the course of activities occurred awareness about health care and coexistence in addition to strengthening bonds with adolescents; Thus, the practical experiences in the PIEPE module, configure a method of academic, professional, and personal growth, because it collaborates with the formation of nurses, allowing the work with the patient, and promoting the confrontation of differences, ensuring the technical development to achieve health promotion.
