Abstract

The PhET platform represents an important didactic resource that provides a ludic and enjoyable teaching and learning process in order to get a better assimilation of new knowledge of Physics contents. Thus, this study aims to analyze the scientific production of the PhET platform applied to Physics teaching. Therefore, a bibliometric survey was made in the databases Portal of Periodicals of CAPES and Google Academic, as well as in the Brazilian Physics Teaching Book. With the methodological strategy adopted in the research, a total of 23 studies were recovered in the period from 2006 to 2021. The results evidenced the journals, institutions, authors, levels of education, areas of most prominent knowledge on the subject, as well as areas of physics not yet addressed in educational studies with the PhET, as thermodynamics and wavy, thus presenting great possibilities for the development of studies with PhET in these areas.
